What is it like to go through IVF…ending a successful pregnancy?
What is it like to experience IVf? Is it a painful procedure? How soon after the procedure do you have a positive pregnancy test?
I had this experience on May and now I am 19 weeks pregnant. Well, you do ti like this:
From the 2nd day of your period you have to inject yourself, or have someone else do it to you, with hormones for ten days. I used Gonal-F. On the 12th day of the cycle the doctor takes the ovaries and the sperm and makes the fertilization. 48 hours later the embryos are placed in you. On the 28th day of the period, two weeks after the placement of the embryos you can have the test.

yesterday i took a home pregnancy test that came back positive. i have had this test for about 5 months but it was still in the packaging and the expiration date on the wrapper said 09 2012. about an hour later i went to the store and bought another box which included 2 test, both came back negative and i went to the doctortoday and the test there came back negative. what does this mean?
Were these all urine tests?
It could be one of two things, you are not using your FMU (first morning urine) and there is not enough hcg present to detect your pregnancy.
